Yoga with Jenny
Yoga is the resolution of the conflict of the opposite.
It’s the union between this and that, between right and wrong, you and I. That which brings us to the understanding that all is well. Even that which hurts.
The practice takes us closer into our selves, our selves being understood as a continuous process, a fractal of the endless everything, of life, source.
We work with awareness, feeling, investigating the deeper aspect of life that are found within, without rejection. We develop a skillful breath to help us balance and focus even when the shit hits the fan, and through researching the different scopes of breath we get to feel what a wonderful, creative force it holds and how beneficial it is for our nervous system.
The body becomes our laboratory, our playground, and we learn how to cooperate with its ever changing nature to give it strength, freedom to move and alignment.
I teach my classes from this understanding of practice and my wish is for you to learn and experience yoga by falling in love with it, as I have. A love that just keeps deepening.

MOSTLY YIN
Tuesdays 19.30-21.15
In this weekly session, we investigate yoga through the lens of Yin. A grounding and softening practice, whose primary tools are breath and relaxation. However, a yin practice also does entail opening to our shadow, the pains and difficulties that we tend to overlook in our daily life. Because it hurts, is inconvenient and not compatible with the story we tell ourselves about what happiness is. By bringing awareness to, and learn to balance the impact of our aches and scars with breath and kind attention, we rephrase the relationship we have towards hardship and ultimately rediscover who we are, the extended version, and what love is.
The session is deep but soft, we sometimes start with a little soft movement to release stagnant energy, but most of the time we stay close to the ground, relaxing, exploring the process of opening and softening the heart and discover the healing potential found when deep relaxation, skillful breath and kindness work together. Classes are taught in English.

WS: The Fundamental Elements of Practice
Aspects of Breath
Breath is the fundament on which practice rests. When observed, it serves as an anchor for the mind to settle around, as a unique yet repetitive event that cultivates focus and willpower, and when breath is consciously influenced, it acts as a regulator that releases and/or revitalizes. It is the element of practice that allows mind to enter the body and work with its energy field. The one that stays with you until you die.
This session will look at breath through three vehicles;
▪ In Meditation, where breath is the anchor and the study.
▪ In a yin setting; When strong sensations dominate our stillness, we explore how working with the breath encourages and soothes, invites to relaxation.
▪ In motion, where breath becomes fuel and guide.
The Centre The Root and The Tail
A thorough introduction and study of the practices that cultivate awareness in our center and unleash the incredible potency that lies, largely unexplored, there. An interactive, unique way to discover Mula Bandha, and understand why it’s another essential element of practice.
This session will also touch upon Intuitive Alignment, seen from the spine and the root, our tail. We will discuss how we place the skeleton and balance the energy distribution throughout our muscular system and how we can restore ease and range of movement in our joints. This is a rather large topic, but we will cover the basics and uncover ways to use Intuitive Alignment in our everyday lives.
